      I've never owned a pair of Red Wings but would consider.

      I really enjoy my Double H's. New ones I use for "dress" until I promote them to "work" boots after some wear and tear.

        To me it depends a lot in the type work you do when wearing them

          I have the red wing pecos above and work in a machine shop my boots have 7 years on them however because of the metal shavings I have them resoled every year

            double H i been wearing diffrent kinds of boots my whole lif and this is my first tset of double ha but i can tell you it wont be my last

                  I have a pair of Redhead Wellington boots from Basspro and love them. Got tem on sale for 79 bucks and very comfortable

                              Looks like it is HH and redwing.

                              Is cavenders the best place to find HH?

                              I guess I will be headed back to red wing store to try on the pecos. The pair I am replacing are redwing laceups - pretty comfortable but tired of dealing with shoestrings. Three years ago I couldn't find a pair of redwing pulllups that fit great (for boots that cost that much they have to fit great). Will give them another shot.

                              I used to wear ariats but over the years they must have changed something because the seam on interior side of boots dig into my ankles. Not to mention soles aren't what they used to be.
