Funny you posted that because one of the doctors I work with said her cousin found one and commented how soft it looked and rubbed it across her lips

Working outside my whole life, I've been stung by just about every thing, bunches of times. These are by far the worst. Thank goodness I have no allergies to any insect stings.

I break out the propane torch when I find one.

                When squishing just isn't enough.....

                They are fun to burn!

I've seen many but never touched one. My father taught me early about them.

As soon as I saw the pic I started to feel some pain in my finger. Where I accidently touched one. Boy that was some burning pain!

I have been stung once a few years ago.
Now I am very scared of these mean critters.

I never saw one until my dad was burned by one... since then this time of year i keep an eye out for them and see them more often than i care for. these things worry me with my daughter playing outside.

I got stung on one arm 4x during halloween, I was sitting next to some low bushes and they were covered by them. At first I thought I was getting scratched, but then the pain set in...radiating down my arm, armpit and side. The marks are still visible on my arm 11 days later.

I have found at least 20 on my front porch the past two weeks. Anyone know why they are so bad right now?

Stole this from the thread you linked. Guess I'll have one less stand.
