Are there Javelina in North Texas?

Reason I ask is because someone I know just spotted what looked like Javelina along a creek. He said they were small and almost grey in color.

Yes We have two large groups on our ranch in Shackelford county. These came in on me this past weekend. Had to get down twice and chase them off. Wish we had a season One of them was big

I have seen them in Baylor, Foard, Knox and Cottle Counties. I think all of these counties have a season for Javelina. My son shot this one last year in Knox county.

Not the best picture but all I have on my phone.

I thought the dang things were everywhere in Texas! Even more than pigs. Guess I was wrong.
