          Had my 9 year old daughter tell me this awhile back:

          Daddy I know that your the tooth fairy. I mean don't get me wrong I'll take the money if your giving it away. Just saying you don't have to try and be sneaky anymore.

                  That's so freaking funny to me. She had to come clean and tell the truth, she was living a lie. Couldn't take the guilt anymore.

                            I remember when my oldest found out. He was in 2nd grade and one of the kids at school had mentioned it during school. So the teacher overheard and told him the truth! I was pretty upset that she did that. It should have been his parents that told, not the teacher... And no I didn't yell at her or anything. I just felt she could have handled it better and said "you should talk to your mom and dad about that" instead of "yup, little johnny is right. Santa and the tooth fairy and the Easter Bunny aren't real. They're your parents."
