I've got an interesting gun safe problem.

So my low end Homak safe is stuck. It's the round key type. It seems somehow a rifle shifted in the safe and the bottom lock tab is stuck against a rifle stock and won't turn. I've got it bolted to the wall so it won't shake free. So what ideas do y'all brainiacs got for this one. Any ideas sure are appreciated and thanks.

Put a block of wood against the safe where the lock mechanism is and give it a whack with a big hammer. As in sledge hammer.

Put something against the safe like a towel or phone book to protect it.

Use some kind of a vibrating tool, german saw without the blade, small jack hammer, concrete vibrator etc. to shake the stock out of the way.

I'm thinking I may have to cut a small hole in the side to shift the rifle. Argh!!!! Just woke my daughter up from her nap beating on the dang thing.
