Good Luck man. It sounds from the shot description that he should be piled up somewhere.

Back at home, guys thank you for the positive advise. No offense taken to the comment, I plan to continue looking for this deer. I will be back up tomorrow afternoon looking for buzzards, if nothing else I will tag just the head if I can turn that up. It is a gut wrenching feeling right now knowing that I killed a beautiful buck and didn't recover him. I want to thank Jeff and his son for taking so much time out if their day today and bringing the dogs out. Again thank you guys, I guess you can't win them all.

I admire the effort you put into finding this deer, that is what we are supposed to do.
But if the team of dogs didn't find him you won't either, sit back and watch for buzzards and watch your cams......I have a feeling you will see thus deer again.
