Whats Up with the cost of ARs

I have a co worker that sells at Gun shows,he told me Bush Master's are going for $499.99 with a $50.00 rebate = $450.00, notice Buds have several around $600.00 what do you think the quality of these are they. Give me your opinion.

That was the original price of those about 6years ago when I started buying ARs. I'd buy them then put in an enhanced trigger but ya they will run a lifetime. Great starters that you can enhance to contend with the best. Many AR right now are cheap due to over production. My MP15 was $570. Wilson combat still holding at $1200 for basic. I enhanced the MP15 smoother trigger than WC same grouping at 100.

Bushmaster is not the same gun it was a few years ago. Company changed hands and they are cutting some corners. The people that used to build them are building Windham arms now.

Its because everybody bought 6 when Obama was elected/re-elected -that Adam Lanza
killed the school children -with an (BM)AR sales went through the roof with ammo and parts
-kinda hard to sell the stuff now,market is flooded.I got one of two I built but have not even shot yet.I even jumped on a AK variant.

Actually, the Bushmaster ORC (optics ready carbine) has a standard lower. The Carbon 15 has a composite lower receiver. You can pick up an ORC for $499 plus a $50 rebate. For $450...you can't go wrong.

Don't waste your money. There are much, much better options out there today. Colt can be had for a few hundred more and it is much higher quality. Or BCM, or DD, or LMT...the list is endless of people who really make good ARs

get a Colt 6920...you can find them for under $1k if you search, this gun will will hold it's value and is an AR actually worth $1k.
