Actually, the Bushmaster ORC (optics ready carbine) has a standard lower. The Carbon 15 has a composite lower receiver. You can pick up an ORC for $499 plus a $50 rebate. For $450...you can't go wrong.

That's right... my bad. But it was the ORC that still didn't have a rail or anything on the gas block, so unless you change the handguard you can't put iron sights on it, right?

Either way, I still decided to build my own, and first one I might add, so I could get what I wanted. Ordered the last stuff last night and ended up at 685 including shipping, transfer fee, and tools. Pretty happy with what I've got
