    Advice Please

I am hunting my own Small 10 acres and have been running corn in my feeders for 16 + years year-round and now more and more neighbors are Running feeders with corn and it seems that i am seeing less and less activity . Does anybody have any secret feed or trick or something I could plant that you would be willing to share that would help me boost my activity back up. Oh yes I have only taken 5 deer in all the years I have been hunting it so i would not think i put too much pressure. I am on the river bottom grimes county. Sorry for the long read

Just stick to it. They now have mire options with other feeders in play.

Are the number of neighbors increasing or just feeders? Are your neighbors seeing the deer? Guess I'm just asking if the deer numbers are the same or did they move elsewhere to seek less human populations.

Not sure what the neighbors are seeing but I know they killed a lot of animals over the past few years so I actually thought the deer would hang out more on my area since they shoot a lot more. And maybe you are right about them moving on

I hunt 17 acres with little cover so it will not hold any deer. I depend totally on drawing deer from deeper coverage next door. For now corn seems to do the trick but I do have the clearance to plant large food plots if necessary.

Vanilla corn- 1st time I used it, saw 7 and they all ate at it at least for some part of the time they were there. 2nd time, different stand (Saturday morning), deer spooked from it. She started blowing and took off. She was 200 yards away and still moving away and blowing last I saw her. I am not convince of its effectiveness yet.

Make water available to them 24/7 in an area they can get to without being disturbed. Find out the preferred browse for your area and plant several varieties of that. Then any corn or food plot items will be like going to the candy store next door.

This^^. Buy a "wildlife mix"(oats wheat rye peas) and plant NOW!! It will pop up in a matter of days with a rain. Your neighbors will be jealous.
