Nope wouldn't do it. Wait... Being part of a good deer hunter is to have patience and know when to play em when to fold em. To those who say "You don't know where the deer will come from." If you followed the #1 rule to deer hunting ( scouting ) you will know where they will come from how they travel and use that location. I am not picking on anybody at all. The wind not being right doesn't mean you cannot hunt a stand that particular day. If your deer come from the left or right and not directly in front of you and have shooting opportunity before they get into your scent, then you could be ok. Personally I wouldn't but that is just me. There is a big difference between hunting hard and hunting smart. Sometimes it is ok to hunt hard and most other times it is better to hunt smart. Just my .02 cents.

What if the deer come from all different directions? When they come first thing in the morning at my place they come from the west, when they venture in a little later they come from the east but circle around and come in from the north. Then again I only have one set so I guess it's my only place to sit, and when they come from the west I'm pretty sure hey come from the property south of me and work their way to me from the west.
