Just hunt it, you never know what will happen. If I had to wait for the perfect wind I would never get to hunt!!

I had a deer look at me at my feeder last week. He knows I frequent the area. I guess I won't hunt it the rest if the year. Lol. Hunt your spot

I don't hunt it unless the wind is right or I have no other option. I love to have the wind in my face, but I won't turn around and go home because its hitting me in the back. Hunting high helps too. I prefer 20-30ft.

Wait for a day when the wind is better. It's a 3 month season...

                      No doubt I would
And with just vanilla spray. Every deer except maybe three this season have come from straight down wind.

Yes I would. I don't pay too much attention to the wind. I also feel if you're maintaining an area, deer get used to your scent. I'm sure most won't agree with me though.

Nope wouldn't do it. Wait... Being part of a good deer hunter is to have patience and know when to play em when to fold em. To those who say "You don't know where the deer will come from." If you followed the #1 rule to deer hunting ( scouting ) you will know where they will come from how they travel and use that location. I am not picking on anybody at all. The wind not being right doesn't mean you cannot hunt a stand that particular day. If your deer come from the left or right and not directly in front of you and have shooting opportunity before they get into your scent, then you could be ok. Personally I wouldn't but that is just me. There is a big difference between hunting hard and hunting smart. Sometimes it is ok to hunt hard and most other times it is better to hunt smart. Just my .02 cents.

Smoked clothes and 20 feet up....your wind will likely never reach the ground and if it does it will smell like a fire.......Hunt!!!

What if the deer come from all different directions? When they come first thing in the morning at my place they come from the west, when they venture in a little later they come from the east but circle around and come in from the north. Then again I only have one set so I guess it's my only place to sit, and when they come from the west I'm pretty sure hey come from the property south of me and work their way to me from the west.

I have a strict scent control routine. I would hunt it. I don't get busted when I'm scent control conscious.
