If I sat with my back to the door I would be paranoid. Facing the room with my back to a wall is the only way I can RELAX.

Some people can't be convinced. Bad people hurt good people every day. My family will not be one of those statistics. So if I have to face the door in an establishment for the protection of my family, (same reason I carry every day and don't drink) then so be it. I guess I'm parinoid. Parinoid someone will try to hurt my family to make a few lousy dollars and I'll be the "sheep" that can't do a dang thing about it because I'm not "parinoid".

There's no convincing needed. Do what you feel you have to do to "protect" your family. As for me, I'll sit wherever they seat me and enjoy my ice cold Miller Lite with dinner.

Always. I think due to me not being so nice growing up. Doing that made me feel better knowing I could see what was coming.

I have to admit I'm surprised to see how many guys do this. Like me, many of you had to explain to your wife or gf why you need to sit in a certain spot. This has me wondering why women don't do this? Maybe a man is just genetically inclined to be more aware of his surroundings? Lots of posts here that state the wife thought it was crazy at first, but has excepted it now. What about the lady TBH'ers out there?
