should have taken them to Trophy Hunters in Kountze, he would have done it right and treated you right, even if you didn't buy the arrows there..........

I'm surprised any store will work on arrows you didn't buy from them. At $2 an arrow to cut, fletch, and glue inserts they aren't making money on them. If you really want to support a local shop you should buy your arrows from them in the first place.

Solution: $29 mini saw at Harbor Frieght

you can print a 20% off coupon and get the saw for $25

I use mine for arrows, 300 BO brass, school projects for the kids, etc....

Gander is always dead when I go in the one buy me. They never have anything worth buying that I can't get elsewhere for less. Boy I miss sportsman warehouse in Lewisville!

I avoid box stores for all the reasons you listed. There's a good chance you're gonna get some clown who works in footwear to wait on you in the ammo section.
              Lol..... That's what I was thinking !

Long story short, I am not sure how that place continues to keep its doors open. I actually was the original employees that helped put this store together, so I saw first hand how bass ackwards this company is run. I was placed in camping, which I do very little of. I worked next to the archery department which I've done since I was 6-7 years old. Out of the 6 guys working in the archery department at that time, only 2 actually had bows. I was constantly getting pulled outta my department to help tie in a peep, or cut arrows, or refletch arrows then when I wasn't in my station would catch an earful from a manager. Do yourself a favor guys and support a local shop.

Please don't take this as a smart arse remark but if you know that much about how to do it and know they don't hire quality people why would you take your arrows there.

that really sucks. Yeah GM is screwed up for sure. I will say that I enjoy going in there and searching through their clearance bin, sometimes those jackwaggons have no idea what htey have and put a ridiculous price on them. No way Id let them work on my bow. Cant imagine they can screw up arrows though, thts ridiculous. At least you got back what was yours.

I have a friend that was recently let go by GM after many years. Refused to move "for good of the company" choosing best option for family. I won't shop at GM. Sorry way for them to treat a good employee.
