Some may remember I was laid off from my job early in August. After searching for "another" position in medical sales, I finally told myself ENOUGH in a volatile industry where lay offs have become common/expected. I decided to get back to what I always loved, land & ranch sales and was in the process of setting up my office.
Then I got a call from the #1 national land development company about interviewing with them from my resume on Monster/Indeed. This company buys large ranches and develops the ranch into 1-10 acre lots. They put in ALL the utilities, except septic, and depending on investment anything from just an entry gate with roads/utilities to elaborate club houses with pool, etc. They have communities all over the USA and have, to my dismay, several MAJOR developments I was not aware of in Granbury, etc.
Anyway, at the ripe old age of 61 and 20+ interviewed....they picked ME and offered me the Land Consultant position! I am so THANKFUL AND EXCITED to get to do what I WANT to do!
My Angel was with me once more.....
