Trust me it's not like the majority of oil guys make one. Plenty of bums out here but this downturn is weeding them out pretty quick. That's the only good part of a downturn.

I've got a whole crew of bums, it's a wonder we ever finish a project. But skilled workers are in high demand these days and hard to find. Youngsters don't give two ***** about learning and doing the job right, they just want the paycheck. I'm young myself, but busted my *** and learned all I could every chance I got to get into the position I am. Most people I hire just want to do enough to get by.

Hey Oilfield Guys!!

Incorrect! To make a hand means to be an exceptional employee, to do what is expected and then some, withou having to be told or someone having to wait on you to do your job so that they can do theirs.

In the oilfield there are a lot of jobs that require more than one person to complete a task, if one person isn't performing, someone else has to work that much harder to makeup for their shortcoming.
