Ok fellas, to clarify.

Shelton says, "The 8 point he is referring to was taken on my uncles property not on my lease it's in a different county so therefor perfectly legal."

Maybe a correction to the story is needed but not a retraction.

I'm just wondering what would possess anyone to care enough to stick their nose in it.

I agree 100% that educating deer hunters would be the best out come to this situation if it indeed turns out the deer was taken illegally. Good catch and thank you for the concern on a possible game law violation
