          Yes sir.
          Found a few good spots.

          The wife changed the iTunes password on me so I couldn't download any apps. Lol
          I just used my maps app and took a screen shot of the area.
          Guess it'll have to work for now.
          Bet I lost 10 lbs walking around for 2 hrs.

              Not sure if you are still in the area but, if you just turn on location services for the camera under the privacy settings, you can take a picture and the gps coordinates will be attached to the picture information.

                I understand it.
                Just didn't have one on me.
                They're nice to have in a BoB and to be able to read them correctly, but they aren't really convenient with today's technology.

                      Download GOOGLE EARTH and learn to use it. You can toggle between PC & PDA easily using both for now and later.

                        I don't know whether this thread is still followed, but the best app for this purpose is Spyglass. It's a nav app that shows your current location, you can also save locations and mark waypoints. For me it's top-notch.

                                Backcountry navigator is by far the best I've found. You can make trails and points and then upload it to Google Earth.
