I'm not sure about the other apps, but Spyglass works without cell signal, but needs GPS signal. And if you pre-download the maps you need, you can use them later when offline.

If you have a an iPhone, just use the map on there. You could drop a pin and name it. You don't need to download an app.

Mossy Oak Hunting & HuntStand. I haven't tried HuntStand yet but The Mossy Oak one works for me. It will let you mark your blind/stand & will show you weather & wind direction as well as sunrise/sunset & Solunar times. You can also manage your location from your desktop via www.scoutlookweather.com

Been using the paid version for a while now. Work great for fishing too. Just hard to remember to use the camera option when saving a tagged spot.

BackCountry Navigator Pro works great. It has both topo and imagery maps, and you can download map area ahead of time to your phone if you do not have service in the woods.

I use the Whitetail Freaks Property Manager app. It works off GPS and has never let me down on my lease where we have almost ZERO cell service.
It has a great function that outlines boundaries lines and calculates acreage and multiple POIs features.
