    GoPro Hero 3

So, I am taking my family to Disney World. We are leaving Sunday morning to make the drive and I am thinking of getting a GoPro to document our adventures on vacation. Just wondering what the green screen has to say about GoPro and if it would be good for the trip.

Be sure to document your expression when you see the prices at Disney.

I love mine. We have gotten in the habit of carrying it mounted to just the curved J mount that comes with it and I carry it in my pocket. It's great for trips to the zoo, museums, parks, whatever or wherever yall might go. The video is great and it's easy to use.

Looks like the top of the line unit is 399.99, middle 299.99, and lower end unit is 199.99

That is the only reason I bought my go pro. Went to disney last month and used the gopro a lot. Very good investment

As long as you understand what it's good at, and its limitations you will enjoy it. The thing devours batteries, so buy some extra to keep charged and ready to use.

be sure and get the "Black Edition". It has built in Wi-fi and you can run it with your smart phone with a free ap. With built in wi-fi, you can also get a second battery back up pack to put on it. That's what I do with mine. The absolute best action mount is that chest rig. get one of those for the rides and give it to the kids. You'll enjoy it. Best little selfie action camera there is and it takes fantastic quality video. If you watch most of the hunting and fishing programs on now, you'll see them in just about every show. They are used a lot for multiple angle shots.

Go Pros are good for what they are. I would not recommend a GO PRO for main camera. Sony Handicams are to me the best overall for what you are wanting. Great zoom, stabilizer, wide angle. I also have a GO PRO 3+.....i use it for close shots and interviews...very limited due to no zoom and no stabilizing..and last thing LIGHT!! you have to have good light. Also if you get GO PRO get a UV filter. Also you need tons of batteries. Only good for 2 hrs. I would get this before a GO PRO. I love mine

The silver edition will run with the app as well. It just doesn't come with the dedicated remote.

GO BLACK if you are going to go. You need the remote.

A couple more stills from the Sony Handycam taken in Brenham that I mentioned.
Go Pro will not do this.

Will the app not do the same functions as the remote? I've been wanting one of these for a while but the price is steep and my toddler keeps pooping away all my money!
