The buyer is waiting on us when we get to the launch. They are sold whole. Used to be skinned and buyer would buy the skin and meat was sold separately but much easier to just take the whole gator. Or at least for us it was.

The 10footer was wrapped up back there and that was the only way we could get to him. I was worried about going to get him and that is about as nice as I can explain that situation. Got it all on video though. Just have not down loaded any yet.

I did the best I could and the guy who did the video when we went after the big one did an ok job but would not get out of the boat with us "Can't say I blame him" but you can still figure out what was going on. Send me your contact info and maybe you can help me put a nice video together out of what I have. I would love to talk to you about it.

Have you ever had to do that thing that Bo Duke did when that girl fell into the Swamp and he had to dive in and wrestle it?

It is nothing like what yall see on Swamp People. It is filthy, stinky and a lot of work.

That is the place. The trout and reds were stacked up in just about every section we were hunting. O how I wished I had the time to fish when I was there.

Good friends live in Lockport. They were born and raised there. If you have been down to the Marina at the pointe, you pass right by their original homestead where they grew up and their camp they stay in now. Bert and Dwight Naquin ring a bell?

Don't know either of them but I would bet they are related some how. I am 37 and we are friends with Bert's daughter Amy who lives here now but graduated from Lockport. She is my age.
