Buy the biggest one you can afford. I swear the guns multiply in there at night.

Get the highest fire rating that you can afford as well. I'm more concerned about fire loss than theft. If they can get in my house, breech the safe or unbolt it from the slab, then carry it out with the extra 500# of lead shot in the bottom plus all the weight of the ammo and guns, and get out alive then they deserve to have it.

I think they will even replace it -- I know they claimed to repair damage done if someone tries to get in the safe.

        Got any pics?

I believe that Granite had a policy where if someone tried to break into your safe they would replace it. I think they used the damaged ones for demos on how tough their safes were.

I bought a Redhead from Bass Pro. Been very happy with it. Not sure of the capacity but I currently have 5 rifles, with scopes, and 7 shotguns. Pistol and ammunition. Also have our passports, copies of marriage licenses, kids birth certificates, savings bonds from grandparents, silver and gold coins, wifes various jewelery, etc, etc.

If you have kids, you owe it to yourself to have a gun safe.

Peace of mind from safety aspect as well as peace of mind safeguarding your valuables from theft/fire.

I sold my house with a built in 45 gun safe, moved and went two years with out a safe. When I bought my new (2 - 45 gun) safes they wont all fit. Some serious reproducing went on somewhere when the wife wasnt lookin.

I would only buy a gun safe that is sized to hold over twenty guns, but don't go along with the philosophy of getting the biggest safe you can. I would rather have two big safes instead of one huge one. That way if a safe is compromised only half of your guns are exposed. Be sure to buy a quality safe and bolt it to the floor.

I have a Liberty and a Cannon and am extremely pleased with both. But for whatever reason I can get the combo right on the Cannon first time every time and it takes me 2 or 3 times to get into the Liberty.

                              Canons are notably more reliable.

Liberty here too. And as said, get one larger, or 2 of'em, than what you think you need. I may have a small one for sale soon...
