Don't buy one!!! The second the ink is drying, someone will post up one with fewer hours, less miles and cheaper!!!!

      Ask me how I know.......

That's a lot of hours. However, if it was a lot of idling / putting around hours, it wouldn't be as bad.

I would say just be persistent and keep checking all the classified listings. I have sold 2 Rangers in the past, both of which were sold within only a couple days of listing. The good deals just don't stay on the market very long.

A lot of people tend to put a bunch of aftermarket additions and then inflate their sales price to try and get back some of the funds spent. The problem is, most add-ons don't add nearly the dollar for dollar value that some might think. I see a lot of machines like this that sit and stay on the market due to the high asking prices.

Just for reference, the last Ranger I sold was a 2009, 700XP, almost 100% stock. It had about 150 hours. I sold it about 1.5 years ago for $6,500. I originally asked $7K, but the guy that looked at it brought cash to the table. I probably could have held out for a bit more, but I was ready to sell and 65 of those Franklins made up my mind.

I think all the newer ones do come with titles, so I would be a bit skeptical if one didn't have one.

          I would definitely question why a 2005 Mule doesn't have a title.

FYI...mules are great in Tx but if you ever plan to go to the mountains go a different brand like Polaris or Honda

Must be a Kawasaki thing I guess?

I've bought a few rangers and a yamaha 4 wheeler over the last bunch of years and all came with titles.

                      I had a '03 Mule 3010 and it was a rough/stiff ride...good machine though.

In response to 'a lot of hours'

In June we did a polaris razor tour in lower part of Baja on 2009 machines. Total trip was about 40km and for the last 25-30 I literally had the pedal through the floor 95% of the time. We hit jumps, turns and the wash boarding on the road was the worse Ive ever seen. These machines had hard miles

The machine I drove had 16,400 kilometers on it and the one a buddy and his wife drove had 14k. When we got back the lowest millage vehicle in the fleet was a 900 single seat that was a year old and had 8700 km. They ran their stuff through the same trails every day and sometimes twice a day

I worried about mileage and hours on my ride till I saw this. Ive got right at 1000 on a 2009. Had 3200 on my honda when I sold it

Rangers are good machines as long as the maintenance is done regularly.
But you know what they say. if its got tits or wheels its gonna give you problems
