Limited market right now. Looking at a few before I commit..

Wonder your thoughts on this one.

2005 Ranger, 1900hrs asking $5000

The upside is its on consignment at a dealership and they have almost all the service records. Recently dropped $1300 on fuel pump, full service and something else..

Hate the stupid windshield thing.. Need some advice..

First off, you won't hate the windshield wiper if you get caught driving in the rain. I am looking at some aftermarket wipers to install on mine. How many hours are on it? That doesn't seem like too bad a price if it doesn't have a lot of hours on it.

That one looks to be in good shape. That's a lot of hours, but not unheard of for a Ranger. For 5k that will be top end of quality you can expect. You will find some with less hours but they will be ragged out.

A friend of mine bought a mule 4010 in great shape for 5k. Found it in Craigslist. Guy was asking 6500 I think. Now that I think about it he paid 4k.

Those are tough machines. Ours has 1600 hrs on it. I would check to see if it looks like its burning oil. Will be hard to tell with limited run time. Would check the rear end to see if it shows any leaks and if it sounds quiet are not. Those rear ends arent cheap if its shot.

Motors are about $800 to rebuild which isnt bad. Check front end to, weve already repalced all of the ball joints once in ours.

If the motors been rebuilt and it runs smooth and doesnt clack and clatter alot it wouldnt scare me to but it at all. But that being said regardless of what has been done I think 5k is a little to high for that many hours.

I had a line one that didn't pan out, then I had another one on Craigslist that I told I had the cash. He told me he would call me in 30min after dinner with his family. Two hours later I txt him and he tells me he sold it 30 minutes ago.. Lots of losers on CList..

To much in my opinion. I have a 2008 Crew with way less hours. When I sell it later this year to upgrade, I'm only gonna be 10-20 percent higher on my asking price than what they want for that one.
