Bobcat or ????

I honestly think it's a Savannah cat. I have one. (seriously). they are hybred cats that are a mixture of an african serval and other large breed domestic cats. Last year my wife and I bought an F2 from a breeder... she looks a LOT like the cat in the picture. the markings are very exotic and the cats are larger than your normal housecat. ours is NOT fat, is just over a year old, and weighs 16 lbs. full grown she should be about 20-22 lbs.

We also have a male Bengal cat, which is mixed with an ocelot. He is still only 5 months old and is around 10 lbs. he's going to be a big boy.

and here's a pic of the two of them.. you can't see how big the savannah is. this is the day we brought home the bengal. the bengal was 9 weeks old in this pic. the savannah has the glowing eyes..

yes, i have a savannah... the mom and dad both were savannahs, both of the parent's fathers were 100% serval (the granddad pic... that's a pure serval. met him in person... that's a friggin AWESOME cat...) i have one f2 savannah and one f2 bengal

You may be right but you may also be wrong. Summer coats are very short making "it" easier to see that "thing" and "it" can and will vary in size also. Surely you know this.
Based on that and it's head size I'm going with female.
One thing that I'm sure of is it's not a Ocelot!!

Really cool. I was looking for an F2. My wife is on a rescue list for people that get those cats and can't care for them
