Hope this helps....
Obviously, I vote big, fat, pretty bobLast edited by doghouse; 08-21-2014, 10:31 PM.

Suspect it is a Bob, except for the reply that it has been seen during daylight and has a long tail. I'm sure there are Bobs out their with no hair on the tops of their ears, especially during the summer. Black and white photos do not define like colored pics. No big deal either way. I have no idea of all the kind of cats in Louisiana. Good night.

I have actually seen a real live in the flesh South Texas ocelot complete with radio tracking collar. This was at the one place where they have been documented to still have a sure enough population Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge. For 32 years of the 42 I have been on God's green earth I lived I 13 miles or less from said refuge. I also have a living witness (father) that was right next to me that day. The said cat in this picture is not an ocelot.

People that said Ocelot, it does have characteristics.
People bagging on the Ocelot folks, its NOT that far off.
Beautiful cat none the less!

Just saying, this one does look a little different and could be mistaken.
Again, agree it is a Bob cat 100%

Its a MALE bobcat.... I see his tomtoms.
It's a beautiful cat. I'll try to setup a couple of my cams and get some good color pictures of it.
