Too late to set up a tree stand?

This last weekend I actually had time to scout out a property that I've been on for 3 season. We've never really entered a HEAVILY wooded area but decided to check it out.
I found a nice scrape and several heavy tracks at a point where three trails converge. I set up a camera and threw some hand corn and canNOT wait to check it out. If the results are promising then I'd like to put a tree stand up but it would require cutting a small tree down (to clear my field of view) and then trimming another tree to put the stand in.
We're quickly coming up on the one month countdown to the opener so what does everyone think about the timing of putting this stand up?

I see no problem. You have plenty of time.

I don't see a problem with it at all. We have set up stands within a few weeks of season and it didnt seem to bother the deer.

I've set up plenty of stands at night and shot deer the next morning.

Never too late to put up stands, build it, & they'll come. Keep us posted &, don't forget LDP's.

No problems, I will sometimes set up tree stands 2 weeks before I hunt them.

This. Never too late as long as you're not making major changes.

I've set up stands and hunted them the same day...in fact the best time is to hunt them is the first time you sit in them....

I'll even move stands during season.

I would try to do it as scent free as possible.
