    Start like this
Hey neighbor I'm ------- how are ya,
Bla bla bla. Hey if you don't mind could y'all not drive on my grass.

If that gets something other than " oh my I am sorry"
Then Your in for one heck of a pain in the neck

My neighbors father did that to me a couple times, not sure if he really knew the property lines. A little chat and all worked out fine, we are buds now.

Is it definately your neighbor or did they hire a crew to paint since you said there are so many cars over there. Easiest thing is to talk to them about it. I felt bad for my neighbors when they first moved in. our house was originally about 7 acres with 2 houses. (relative next door) house next door was divided and sold with one acre. all my friends used both driveways and the front yard whenever they swung by if they had a trailer to pull in and out without turning around...seems like everyone would know not to do it then someone else would show up a month later i havent seen in forever and do it again...my wife brought them food regularly.

Ask him if he would like to pay his half of the fence you are going to have to put up to keep the new neighbors off your yard.

I'm a freak about my yard also.. just ask my grown kids what i've grown to learn late in life is that the grass grows back . there is the possibility of watching your neighbors kids grow and having a peaceful area for that to happen...... i think i saw you posted your 25. so kids are in your future along with more parties. don't be "that neighbor" over dirt and grass. they have a small area? blend it and use it also for your parties. Neighbors= small communities = long term friends

if it's destructive to a point of someone was an a-hole (spun the tires) go talk with them.

Ask them not to park on the graves where the previous occupants of their new house are buried.

Do you live in the Ford Estates in Dayton? Just wondering because my cousin lived there and lots of teenagers would park all willy-nilly throughout that neighborhood.

A visit would be good, being a good neighbor is key to peace in the neighborhood. Country living sometimes has it's problems but like others have said grass will grow back and dirt is great for filling ruts. Guy came into my yard and made a u-turn years ago with a trailer loaded with a horse drawn wagon, he got stuck cause it was wet. Neighbor who was hosting the trail ride came down and pulled him out, then chewed him out for being so stupid. He later came and back filled the ruts and told me he would replace the grass. Told him not to worry about it, the grass grew back in a couple weeks. Problem solved and the neighbor is a great friend of ours now.

I live on hillcrest street. I could have been one of those teenagers a couple of years ago

Friendly introduction always a good thing. Horitexan's "oh, by the way" about the cars is also the right approach. They might be "flippers" and gone next year, or you may need to live side-by-side for decades.
