So Iv been in my house since December and the house next door was for sale for awhile. Well now some people bought it and have been painting. I get home today and there's cars lining the street in front of their house and mine ( I'm fine with that they have a little driveway ) but once I pulled into my driveway I see three cars parked on the side of my yard that is next to theirs. I have a big circle drive so they had to pull into my drive and into the yard to park next to their house. I was annoyed at first cause I'm a freak about my yard. I asked my wife if anyone asked her if they could park over there and she said no. So the brand new neighbors didn't even ask just park in my yard which really ticked me off. The property line is clearly marked with their fence and my privacy fence. Am I just weird and think this is out of line and what can I do to stop it and not seem like a jerk. I expected them to come talk to me when they saw me outside all evening but they just looked at me and went back inside.

That is just sorry in my book. What has happened to respect nowadays??? Its hard to believe people would even think of doing that. If it was my place ,I would go over & TELL politely ,but Firmly I don't appreciate them parking in my yard. I'm sorry somethings just don't go over with me & that would be one of them. Some People just don't have any sense nowadays.

I thought about putting a sign over there that said no parking but I just don't want to be a jerk since I have to live next to these people. Cause i don't want have bad blood cause sometimes we like to have parties that last late ( not loud or rowdy parties ) but usually a lot of cars in my driveway. At first I got some frowns from my other neighbors for being 25 and the youngest person on the street by 20 years but now they know we don't cause any trouble

Give it 10 minutes and you'll get a "SSS" suggestion. Lol!
Go be nice. Introduce yourself and welcome them to the neighborhood. On your way out pull the old, "oh, by the way, could y'all try to keep people from driving into my lawn? I've been working really hard on it. Thanks neighbor!" If it happens again, THEN you can get irate and go to war with the people living within spittin' distance of your home.
