Do what you want to do. But be sure and take responsibility for your actions. It seems that you have it figured out already. From all your posts in this thread you are just looking for an excuse to harm the neighbors dog. Have you thought about building a fence for your own dogs?

Originally posted by bowhunter0 View PostNot looking to harm the dog, very easily could've done that without asking for advice. Said multiple times I'm an animal lover, and do believe the last of my comments said I was going to talk to the neighbor about the situation. Some of my comments may have come off as angry because I was angry. If I wanted to kill/harm the dog I think I could've figured it out on my own...I came here looking for advice from grown men which is what I got for the most part, thanks by the way guys. Maybe you should re-read through my comments about how I said I was going to try to resolve the issue before telling me I'm hellbent of harming someone else's animal. If it came down to it and one of my animals was being injured I would then, yes, harm the other dog. But for now like I said before, I plan on talking politely to the neighbor.
Sounds like a good plan man. Good luck and hope you get it resolved

Or fight with neighbor, poison his dog, and have years of animosity ahead. Dogs are easy to deal with. People are the problem.
The obvious solution is training.

All in good fun. Just kidding.
I hope you get it resolved. Good luck.Popularity and backyard breeding have not affected the lab like other breeds.

Man, I hope I never have some of you as neighbors. It sounded like OP hadn't talked to the neighbor at the time of posting this and many people's first reaction would be to call authorities on the dog, shoot the dog (or otherwise injure it), etc. Maybe the neighbor isn't entirely aware of the situation. Most of the time a simple, friendly conversation can solve this. Calling authorities or injuring the dog without talking to the neighbor first is a good way to start a lot of trouble down the road instead of having good cooperative neighbors.

Offer the neighbor some food, and the dog a biscuit.
While the neighbor is eating the food, punch him in the throat while looking at the dog.
The dog will think he's next and you wont have a problem with him after that.
but seriously, if the neighbors dog is coming on to your property for your dogs, then that would be a problem. but if its your dogs going onto the neighbors property, that's trespassing. you cant or shouldn't harm an animal that doesn't belong to you that is on another persons land. now if hes on your property causing harm, then maybe you can treat him however you want. is the lab leaving the neighbors property or not?
