Which Bird bag do you use?

I have an old one that is ok, and I have a vest, but contemplating getting a Jon Hart or King ranch bird bag. I also looked into the Filson, but have never see one in person. I want one that will last me forever. Considering one of these expensive ones so I could possibly pass it down to a son one day if I ever have one.

I use a Filson and have had it for 15+ years. The oil cloth has held up nicely.

I bought the Filson "Tin Cloth" bag about 10 years ago. They are expensive - probably close to $150 now - but it is truly an "heirloom" piece of hunting equipment. Your kids and maybe even grandkids will use it.

I have a browning bag that is similar to the above filson bag but a bit less expensive.

I have a jon hart, and love it. Just make sure you get the right size the first time.

I also have had a Filson for ten years and like it. It's very durable and looks nice, too!

I actually need to go try mine on. I'm not as fat as i was the past few seasons, might need a smaller size (not that that's a bad thing just hate to start over on another one)

I have a King Ranch Shell Holder and it is also very nice.

No need to start over, Contact them and they can go one or two sizes either way is what they told me.

Like send it in and they'll resize it? I'd be down for that.

I had never heard of a bird bag until I joined this forum. What are the pros and cons verses a plain jane upland bird vest with the back pouch?
