I have had it numerous guess I never learn and I can tell u it is the worst thing that has ever happen to me the itch is jus unbearable. I have ended up in the hospital every single time for benedryl shots. I literally go crazy for 30 hrs running around in circles jumping up an down not really knowing what to do. Absolutely do not but anything on it like creams or lotion makes it a million times worse. Only relief I have found is extremely hot showers every 20 min and liquid peppermint extract. From what I understand ur brain can only except one single at a time so when u apply hot water it tells ur brain hot an the itch goes away some what until the heat is gone hope this helps some, I just had it 2weeks ago.

That's the only temporary cure I know of and plan on buying some peppermint extract tonight just in case

Don't " itch " , it will itch enough on its own....don't scratch it tho,it will just make it worse....

Only had it once when i was around 11 or 12 first and last time i will ever swim fish or do anything with out a shirt on. Most miserable 2 days of my life. Cowboy hat or other form of hat that covers ears and neck are a must and lots and lots of sunscreen

What's strange to me about it is that I get sunburnt all the time, but have only had a "mild" case of this once. I know that if it would've lasted any longer I would've went to the doctor for some relief.

Been there, had it many times just as bad as you. I had it several times so bad on my eyes swollen shut. Had it where the blisters between my fingers were so big I could not touch my fingers together. So bad, I had the skin on my head go around the frame of my glasses and touch.

Sounds terrible, I hardly use sunscreen or burn much at all thankfully.
