I had no idea a dog could be so awesome. Best thing I ever picked up from this site is learning about the breed. Very smart and versatile pups, so far.....
Hey if nothing else they are chic magnets and conversation starters.

Very disappointing but I'm attached to her and not sure how much it will affect her blood trailing (she won't be hogging'). It could be a problem when she gets away from me and can't tell where I'm calling her from.
Thanks for the heads up. I thought she was just stupid.
Chew I bet once she matures and all her brain is wired together she will be fine. She is young. When we first started the hide and seek game Jenna would do exactly what you are describing.each time she got better. Now it only takes a giggle from a room in the house and she 0s in on it. It's hard for her to scent track AJ in her own bedroom that she been playing in forever so a giggle will send her in the right direction. Might sound silly but hide and seek with your dog is so much fun and I think it help reenforce the tracking training.

I was hoping some of TBHs that picked up the last four pups from me would post up some pictures. Another thing if anyone on here gets a Catahoula that has POST OAK Kennels in their back ground on reg.papers from NALC. Would you let me know that is my kennel name for past 22 years.....There are some good looking dogs on here and like they were talking about eyes and ears. I have seen some posted on here for sale and some that were bought that had problems but I won't down talk another mans dog. Unless asked by the owner what I thought.......Andy

Catahoula= dog mixed with flying squirrel x crack head! Lightly tossing the ball in the corner telling her get the bird now means to a 3 month old catahoula to fly back on the retrieve to one piece of furniture to use as a launching pad to the next till she makes back for the treat. We had to move the games to out doors.
Thanks again Steve for the info!
