Ledoux did it again. Shot 2 hogs earlier this evening. A medium sized one and a little baby that just didn't want to leave the corn. Both were shot within a foot of each other and almost took the same trail into some thick nasty hands and knees stuff. Looked like a crime scene where I shot them, and I saw the spray when I hit the bigger one. But the blood didn't last long I guess the hole got clogged. But Ledoux was on it! She had to back track and one point and sort it out, but she did, and pretty quickly. We would only see a drop every once in awhile but didn't have much time to look cause she was moving at a pretty quick pace and we were trying to make it through the thicket without being cut to pieces. Don't know if we would have found it without her but if we did it would have been a grueling hands and knees track. Well we drug the sow out and I started her again on the piglets trail. At this point I am whooped and sweeting like a pig, dad decided he didn't want to go back in that thicket so he waited by the sow, and Ledoux's tongue was literally dragging the ground. I could tell she was whooped and wasn't paying as much attention. She made it to the creek bed, went down in it, went down a ways then came back, went up the other side then turned around and went back to her first prize. Lol I think she was just too tired and gave up. We made the looonnngg drag back to the truck, snapped a pick, and snatched the backstraps and a ham. Technically she is 3 for 4 but I'm gonna cut her some slack on this one since it was a double and the first was pretty rough. Sorry it got so long winded. Here's the only pic we got
