Another bobcat mount

I mounted the cat but it's not mine. I mounted it for a guy he didn't want full body. A shoulder mount pedestal was what the man wanted. I agree with the eyes looking big. I think it the round pupil making it look that way or maybe my clay work was off. I don't know!

Was it a young cat (small)? That might be why the ears appear so close together and big... kinda like a young bear... Great shape and detail tho...

Your eyes are to wide. Almost all manikins on the market are sculpted with the eyes to far apart and they always recommend a eye size that is way to small. The so let's have to be moved in according to reference. The next time you skin one take notice just how big their eyes really are.

I think you got the brows really close to where they should be and the inset looks great but I am not a fan of the round pupils, it makes the mount look to wide eyed.

I think it looks darn good. Cool little mount! Maybe a couple small tweeks but you are on track. Cats ain't easy!!!

I think that looks great. I like the concept of a shoulder mount on a bobcat. It'd make for an awesome little trophy to put on a desk at work or something like that. Congrats on a good kill and awesome little trophy. Mind me asking what a bobcat shoulder mount costs?

Nice job. I do think the top eye lids could be a bit lower. The ears could be set farther apart and slightly rotated, inside edges forward. Noses can vary in color and I prefer them a little more orange.

The pupils almost always seem to be slightly covered by the top eyelid. The eyes are set to deep, and more than likely are too small. I don't care for the nose color. Also check those hair patterns, especially on the tufts.

With that said, it is better than 95% of the cats posted on here. Very good for cat #6.
