Another bobcat mount

I have seen lots of bobcat treads on here and most were not to good. I know I will get everyone's honest opinion so let's hear it. This is my 6th bobcat mount and first one with round pupils. I am not sure I like them or not.

When I saw this thread I smiled because it's the 3rd bobcat mount thread today.

That being said, that is hands down the best bobcat mount I have ever seen in my life and you should have gotten a full body mount. Who is the taxi?

To me it looks like his buddy came up from behind him and poked him in the butt. Not digging the wide open eyes and round pupils.

I like it! I'd be happy with it, way better than a lot I've seen lately. It actually looks like a bobcat to me....& not a cartoon critter on crack. Very nice!

I'm not real keen on the round pupils either, and to me, they look a bit too set back in the head. I think that may just be the way it is posed. The ears look too big and on top of his head, though I don't know how you'd separate them since they are just part of the pelt.

In general, I think this is a quality job of a bobcat head.

I mounted the cat but it's not mine. I mounted it for a guy he didn't want full body. A shoulder mount pedestal was what the man wanted. I agree with the eyes looking big. I think it the round pupil making it look that way or maybe my clay work was off. I don't know!

I'm a big fan of the round pupils. Looks good in all the cat mounts I see.

I think the mouth looks a little funny, but overall it's a good mount. Thanks for sharing.

Nice job. I do think the top eye lids could be a bit lower. The ears could be set farther apart and slightly rotated, inside edges forward. Noses can vary in color and I prefer them a little more orange.
