Time to replace windows in the house. Recomendations??

OK folks, lets hear it. I have a few windows that are blown and need replacing.
Any GS'ers in the business in north Texas- Plano?
Any recommendations on what windows you have had both good and bad experiences with?

Who'd you go with and were you happy? Tinkering with replacing some or all of our windows in Plano as well.

I actually went with Home Depot and bought some of their higher end windows. I was very pleased with the customer service and the end result.

Funny story. I had also gotten a bid from a very high-end window place here in San antonio. They were a few thousand more than hd and they really touted their install quality during the sales process.
The guys that hd subbed the install to showed up wearing shirts that said the other company's name on it. When I asked them, they said they sub contract for almost every major window sales place in town. I found that interesting, and it made me glad I didn't lay way more for their "better install."

Not sure what they cost down there but I helped a buddy install pella windows a couple summers ago. He charged 1000.00 a hole, roughly figured. Window and installed. Of course some where more and some were less, but this would get a customer close. Oh yea I would not go with pella.
