Time to replace windows in the house. Recomendations??

OK folks, lets hear it. I have a few windows that are blown and need replacing.
Any GS'ers in the business in north Texas- Plano?
Any recommendations on what windows you have had both good and bad experiences with?
    Thanks in advance!!

Do you want to replace just the glass or the whole window? Do you have aluminum now? I would go with a vinyl replacement window. I don't know anyone in that neck of the woods but can get you a name or two.

NT Window (Fort Worth)-It's part of my family. Definitely recommend going vinyl. I replace the windows in our home every 3-4 years just for a change; but that's just a perk of being in the business.

I had a sliding glass door put in by Clarity Windows a couple of years ago and really like the quality of it, the installation was spot on and done very professionally. You might have them give you a quote as they serve the whole DFW metro area.

I may have a recommendation in a couple of weeks. Have a vinyl on order at Lowes. Replacing a large slider in our kitchen. Lowes had them on sale, plus my military discount.

This one is framed in wood, so it will be an easy first trial. The next windows will be in the brick.

I had Simonton Windows put in my house a few years ago. Very happy with them. It's worth paying a little more for the low-e glass. Really cuts down on the AC Bill.
