That's garbage! Institutions of higher learning with credits that don't transfer, and who cancel programs should have to issue refunds. However, most, if not all, are nothing more than money making Ponzi schemes these days. However, that's just my opinion. This coming from the guy who will be starting his Jr year in College after the past 16 years in the Army. Need to finish my BS in CJ so I can go work at the SD upon my retirement

Sorry about your daughter. That blows...
Most of the trade schools credits don't transfer. When I took my electronics training I chose a college with transferable credits and also the harder math. That tech math was easier but... It took longer but if I had decided to advance my education I dang sure didn't want to start over.

I dont think they can do that. I would check with their accrediting body. Usually they "teach out" a program, not cancel it. If that doesnt work, talk to the lender(holder of the loans), they may be forgiven.
Second, it is up to the institution that she would go to next to take the credits. No idea if they are transferable until she applies to another and has her transcript reviewed.
