My true bet is she accidentally killed her own dogs and is fabricating the story to divert attention. They are known liars and self conservationists. Their word is not above reproach, but instead should be closely scrutinized.

Even if you have a jacked up truck with a grill guard etc., when was the last time you heard about someone deliberately swerving to hit anything?

Also, why were the dogs in the road?

I rolled a pickup swerving to miss an animal before. I wont swerve ever again. Ill apply the breaks but will not swerve. But I would never try to hit someone's pet. That's awful.

I HAD a friend that would swerve to hit animals in the road pet or not. He is no longer my friend. So there are people out there that will do it for the kicks.

I don't know her family but I have known her in-laws for most of my life and I don't think any of them would run over their own dogs and then make up this kind of story.

while it is unfortunate that these two dogs were run over, i dont feel that this person is worthy of any extra sympathy or effort to find the culprits, just because of their celebrity status.

lots of bad things happen to run of the mill folks every day, and no one gives a rats poot about it, much less starts a lynch mod looking for alleged guilty parties.
