I left the Dallas area for a job here in Pennsylvania and today I got a new job offer in Florida for 7 bucks more an hour. I'm torn between saying yes and keeping true to my word with this company I'm with right now. You guys as my family help me!

You may not be better off when its all said and done. Make sure you'll be happy in FL as well. Its not always about the money. Good luck

$7 may not be a big increase if you're currently making $150/hour... It's obviously a huge increase if you're making $12/hour

I think keeping your word far outweighs a few extra bucks. But what is 'keeping your word' in this scenario?

In August my dad will have been with his employer for 40 years. After graduating college i figured i would get a job, be loyal and stay there until retirement. But 11 years out of college I realize companies no longer show the same loyalty. If I didnt promise so many months or years, id make the move that gave my family the most benefit whichever one that maybe.
