Duck hunting guides in North Texas?

I know with doves the first couple weekends are great cuz 90% of the doves are local the. It tends to slow way down till the cold fronts push birds down from up north. Same thing happen with ducks?

If you have never been I would suggest waiting until the Big season. Their will be more shooting opportunities because more of the migration will be down. I would contact Duks-R-Us if I was heading up that way to hunt. A few friends of mine hunt with him every year and have always been pleased. Better pray for rain because there water sources need it!

How's teal seAson in Sept compare to the general season in Nov?

If you're planning more than one trip or you want to break your wife into a short easy trip it's okay. Otherwise, teal can be over before it starts as long as their on the birds.

Btw-you can't beat teal for the table.
