Nice! You have him a warning, that's fair enough! Play ball!

Send his plate number to Chew, get HIS address for future reference if needed.

The fact that he didn't just apologize and promise not to do it again leads me to believe that he didn't get the point. He obviously thinks that he is within the law doing what he's doing and will continue to do it.

Equivalent of 450 watts of RF power will override his measley 4 watts within 1/4 mile.
I lost an RC airplane due to this one time and it was found almost 30 miles away in a man's cow pasture.
Truckers with hopped up CB's used to love doing this to us until we found out what was taking control of our airplanes.
                    No firearms involved
This man must be an old HAM radio operator. That will do the trick.

There are no closed seasons or bag limits on drones in Texas - right?

                          I agree,
I started to type this and then decided not to...
If he started to explain the law and his rights to you and did not apologize, he'll be back. I hope I'm wrong.

You need to keep some clay targets by your shotgun. You never know when the urge to shoot sheet will hit you. Just in case.
