Killing one copperhead out in the woods is like killing a mosquito. Sure, they have the potential to hurt you but would rather be left alone. I always let em alone unless around the house.

Just read another thread about a guy and his son. Son opened gate and there was a rattler right by him. He didn't get bit either but dad took care of business. I don't see why so many people like snakes or are willing to give them a pass. Serious injury or death seem like good reason to dispatch all venomous snakes. Why take a chance ?
