What could i expect the price difference to be between having a company do it and doing it myself?
If anyone reading has fenced before, would you have done it any differently?
What is the longevity of current non-coated fencing?

Predator wire on bottom and barb wire on top?

Is there another reason im not thinking of? Here is the layout with the arrow pointing to the road frontage.Last edited by Sippy; 05-30-2014, 08:30 PM.

If you wanted to save some money, would do the clearing yourself and let a pro string the fence. Definately put a little extra in to get full galvanized, sta-tight, and good pipe. We are in rough hill country, so would kill for some of the prices above. Have done some small work and pens, but we're not far off from having to do some major replacement. Our fence is probably 30-40 years old - cedar stays and just 2 sections of goat wire - more 'deer deterrent' than deer proof.

Re: gates - I can see why you are questioning putting in more that one. At a minimum, would put the supported poles spaced for a gate on each side. Won't cost much if anything extra, and gives some options for sale or purchase of neighboring land, and you could cut at that spot in case of a fire
