I do hate long lines and traffic but I'd never let it ruin my time....it is what it is..
Exactly! You can't do anything about it. So, enjoy it! I'm an old guy and I live in Austin. I've seen The Rolling Stones man! At Zilker Park! I've seen Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews, The Eagles, Mattis Yahu, ZZ Top, the big guys and the little guys and everything in between. I've even been to a half dozen back yard concerts. We usually pick where we dine according to who's playing. And I don't ride bulls anymore but I do go to a lot of bull ridings. You can't do any of that without crowds and traffic. I survive. It's not that bad.
My cousin has stadium club season tickets that he offers to me. They would be free but I would have to go lol. You and I need to get today one day anyway.
I'm not looking forward to Disney World with the family when that day comes.
Ouch! It is a awesome time with the family, we have been 4 times and even Euro Disney. No way I would even consider not having a blast with my child if that is what she wants.
I can't even stand to go to sporting events anymore. I'd rather watch ballgames on tv. I don't even like going to the movies either. My wife and I just wait until they come on DVD.
Agreed...and college aged "adults" that think having a good time is seeing how close they can get to alcohol poisoning and acting a fool...and 50-somethings that emulate those kids in a desperate effort to maintain some level of youthful "kool"...and the word kool (unless it is immediately followed by "ade")

Yep. If a person doesn't like lines and traffic.... don't go into lines and traffic.
Until I make enough money to get George or Reba to do a private show, I will either have to put up with everyone else or keep listening to them on the boom box.
Traffic irritates me crowds arent too bad. The ones that get to me in crowds are the idiots that are oblivious to their surroundings. Had 6 people block the exit to a grocery store the other day while they talked and caught up with each other. Not a single one had a clue they had the exit blocked until i opened my mouth. My wife gets mad and says im rude about it, but to me those kind of folks have no respect or clue as to what they are doing.
Anywhere you go in Midland is packed all the time. My wife and I have gotten to the point that we'll go to McDonalds (where the employees don't know english) on the weekends vs waiting 2 hrs to be seated at a sit down restaurant. We've tried everything from eating early dinner to eating dinner at 9:30 and still, it's always a long line to be seated. She laughs at me because I get so frustrated with it. And you can forget going to a movie on the weekends unless you want to pay $25 to sit shoulder to shoulder in little mexico with a bunch of people who don't know english. But that's a separate frustration in itself.
