      Praying boss.

      1 benadryl per 25 lbs.

keep him/ her cool (inside air condition) hydrated and ice the areas to ensure that the throat area stays open.

Wow, what a difference. You might consider getting him to the vet man.

Best of luck. I know dogs deal with bites a lot better than we do, but several bites to the face is rough man. I hope he's not in pain.

My dog got bit on the front left leg once and limped around for a few days and was completely fine. I'd probably take him in for multiple bites on the face though.

Thanks everyone! He is inside in the cool A/C and looks to be enjoying it. One side of face has gone way down but his other side is horrible. He is a strong dog and a great watch dog. Lookouts for anything and everyone. The snake was 20' from my kiddos play area. If it wasn't for him there's no telling what could have happened. Its part of living especially out in the country and hopefully he will be ok. I walked the dog area and found 2 dead snakes from this week. One looks like a king snake and the other a rat snake. If only he knew to let them go (especially the king snake) maybe this copperhead wouldn't have come around. He is a trooper!

Vet would more than likely give Dexamethasone and Pennicillin (steroid and antibiotic) Our vet claims the rattlesnake vaccine does offer "some" crossover protection for all the pit vipers.
