Incessant Calls from AT&T

These calls are annoying, I called customer service and was told the same as others, "Scam". They are always from a different 800 number, I received one last weekend at 11:45 at night.

AT&T should be able to find out who purchased the 800 numbers and turn them off, I would think!

My only option from AT&T was to change my number, that's not going to happen. They told me other carriers were having the same problem.

I started getting them and called 611. I was told they are not from AT&T and they are some sort of scam. Anyway, everytime I got one, I just blocked the number. After a while, they quit coming.

how do you block a number? I get 8-10 spam calls a day mon -fri

Please they are relentless.

If someone from an area code I don't recognize calls me I let it go to voice mail, including all 800, 888, 866, blocked and unknown. They almost never leave a message.
