I'm thinking set those guys up for failure. Put a lock on top so they have to climb to cut lock. Make it high at least 20'. Then fix the stand to break and fall when they get up there. Then maybe the thief will break his dam neck.

I got nothing, other than cameras. I hunt Montgomery county so it does make me nervous to hear this. You dont hunt the 1774/1486 area do you? ( Im not asking for specifics, just whether this is happening in my general area )

There are several small devices that have a battery life of several weeks that can be used. Put it in a small area that it would not be seen. They are not too expensive and you can set up a geographic fence so when the item leaves the fence it texts you. Downside is you would need a separate tracker for each stand. Make sure you have a TDL number or some other identifying number on the stand for when it is recovered. Gonna be up to you if it is worth it to spend the money or not. If you are not close to the area hopefully your local LEO's will work with you and help recover the stuff. Theft of a deer blind is probably Theft 500-1500$ a Class A misdemeanor which usually means 4 hours in jail and probation unless the crook has two prior theft convictions. Good luck

Use an old cell phone as a lojack device. They can be traced. Just have to charge it every now and then. Seen guys use it on motorcycles as free lojack

A guy got sued for doin this with live ammo and injuring a thief. The landowner claimed protection of property, but the thief won the suit on grounds that no property is worth losing life or limb... Is it wrong, you betcha... Is it worth going to jail, nope.
