....First off let me say that my wife is by far the strongest toughest person I've ever met....
...We decided that safety would need to be number one priority as opposed to natural labor. That and I dont know how much more I could take of my wife writhing in pain. One of the hardest things I've ever had to be apart of.........
.........1 hour later as we're sitting in the OR I hear the sound of the beautiful little lady and I lost it. Yep flat out lost it. Big tears..........
..........Me it was excruciating and truly the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. After having roughly 8 hours of sleep in 48 we were exhausted. All was great and I wouldnt change anything about it. She was greeted by about 20 family and friends that had filled the waiting room that had been there for 18 or so hours of it............
Travis,
your first hand experience in the L&D room happened the same way mine did.
Unless you've been there and done that, words cannot describe the actual birth and emotions/feelings a husband and wife go through when a child enters this world.
absolutely amazing and God made women for a reason !!
No way any man could carry a baby for 9 months and then squeeze until a 8.5 lb bundle of joy is passed.
congrats again to ALL the family. The grandparents must be on cloud 9
Those are great pictures. The important 2 things are due to how woman's hormones work, 1. all the things she said about you do this to her were not meant, and 2. with a small amount of time she'll forget the pain of the delivery.
Fight for her to stay in the hospital as long as your health care plan will cover- this 24 hours in/out does not give woman time to rest and get ready for being a Mom at home.
