Rumor is true. Jolie Ann Berger born July 9, 2008 at 8:04pm.

First off let me say that my wife is by far the strongest toughest person I've ever met. She was set on having natural child birth and absolutely gave it her all.

We went to the hospital at 10pm on Tuesday night the 8th after her water broke here at the house. Contractions picked up on and off and everything was kosher.

Well let's fast forward 21 hours of excruciating frustration and pain later! Contractions were double spiking before they took a break. Basically 2 at a time. She focused on her breathing and was doing work. I'm extremely proud of her. She had just gotten to the pushing stage and was just flat out exhausted and accompanied with the possibility of an 8+ pound baby it was decided that at that time the best thing would be to perform a C section. Callie was just spent. We decided that safety would need to be number one priority as opposed to natural labor. That and I dont know how much more I could take of my wife writhing in pain. One of the hardest things I've ever had to be apart of.

1 hour later as we're sitting in the OR I hear the sound of the beautiful little lady and I lost it. Yep flat out lost it. Big tears. Callie was enjoying the spinal tap so it was good times for her. Me it was excruciating and truly the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. After having roughly 8 hours of sleep in 48 we were exhausted. All was great and I wouldnt change anything about it. She was greeted by about 20 family and friends that had filled the waiting room that had been there for 18 or so hours of it.

Both callie and jolie are fine just tired.

On a side note. I talked to double lung about the potential for selling that black baby poop tar as a commercial grade adhesive. That stuff is wicked!

Her score sheet fills out like this. Outside spread 20 1/2" and a live weight of 8lbs 9.5 ounces! She's beautiful as can be and truly the greatest experience I've ever been apart of. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes.

She is absolutely beautiful and a very good representation of both. More her mom than me thank god!

Yes she's already got me wrapped around her finger! And yes she will have a pink AR one day!

            Now to the LDP's!

Callie after hour 15 still in good spirits. No anesthesia no epidural (spelling). She's a soldier.
