Probably what I'm going to do. Have a 06 d-max and around December going to trade it off towards a new 6.7 powerstroke if I don sell it before hand. Great choice on a truck.

Thanks. This is actually the second time it's happened. Needless to say, I don't baby my trucks. I don't abuse them, but they are bought to use.

Latch onto a 13K toy hauler and run up and down some hills with the cruise set on 70 mph...that might do it. I was running in the manual mode in 5th gear. As we were climbing a hill on I-10, she down shifted hard and BANG!

Not sure if it spun the bushing in the transfer case but the bearing is toast.
